Primo Water - Will not give money back for Bottle deposits.
I bought 4 5 gallon bottles in Walmart. Kept rotating them for new ones for a while. 2 days ago, i went to Walmart to return them. Walmart says, they will not take them.
$13.44 per bottle and $6 approximately for each refill. What is the point of charging deposit if you are not going to accept the bottles and return the deposits.
I talked to customer support of Primo. They refereed me to this link. http://primowater.com/empty-bottle-credit/
We get $1.00/bottle credit. We have to send them replacement ticket(from Primo Empty bottle machine) and Empty bottle return form in mail to get $1.00 per bottle. Max limit is 10. So a max of $10.00 per lifetime.
Undisclosed or minute print business.
Reason of review: Return, Exchange or Cancellation Policy.
Monetary Loss: $32.
Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.
Primo Water Cons: Being tricked into thinking i would get my return money back, Not mentioning bottle cost will not be returned.

Thatโs some BS. Getting bamboozled is not cool!
The return policy is clearly posted on all of their stations. At no point does it state that you can get a cash refund for the empty bottles, only that it gives a discount on each refill.
unfortunalty I had the same bad experience with PRIMO. I sit on six 5 gallon bottles - 1$ credit is a slap in the customers face - I am not taking 1$ if H=I hade to pay 6.50$ deposit for the bottle itself - rather destroy them
They were not bottle DEPOSITS, you bought the bottles.
They label it as a deposit when you sign up for this "Service" - so if they refuse to refund it at the end of the business relationship, it clearly wasn't a "deposit" but a rip-off. But what else is new with a profoundly indecent company like Nestlรฉ.
Same thing happens with all their distribution outlets.
Identical experience with ReadyRefresh... the only difference is that over there they have your credit card information and keep charging.
Have 4 5gal primo water bottles now. Need to get 4 3gal prefilled primo water bottles because can't lift bottle to dispenser.
Where can I get them and can I have them delivered. How much would it cost and what should I do with 4 return tickets?
Me too, soon the hook for 14 bucks and no bottles! If ots a deposit they should refund that. I'm going to find another company to deal !
I am in the same situation. Itโs a total rip off. They didnโt have the bottles at the Walmart every time I went and so I went with some other vendor for my water needs and as a result realized the con.
Same here
I experienced the same bad experience/scam and lost $32 too. We should bring this matter to Better Business Bureau or Attorney General.
It's Nestlรฉ. If they can destroy, con or shaft, they will.
The same thing happened to me. I bought three and then found out they will not refund the bottle.
I had actually turned my in and have vouchers with no cash value. Yet now they have the bottles.
I have been a bottled water/cooler user for twenty years. This is the first time I've encountered such greediness and slyness.
We just ordered Culligan water ( first time) THEY delivered and the price that you say $$ Primo cost, is approximately the same price for guaranteed water with Culligan. Maybe you should switch ! I hope this helps
I figured if I paid for them I would cut them up and throw them away
